KCRW DJ’s will team up again for another great night of music and dancing on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, with special musical guests to be announced at a later date. Masquerade: A Halloween Costume Ball & Dance Party for KCRW will be held at the Legendary Park Plaza in five uniquely-themed rooms with KCRW DJs slaying the dance floor, frighteningly good live band performances, ghost stories and more. The Legendary Park Plaza, one of the most elegant venues in Los Angeles, is not normally open to the public so who knows what ghouls are lurking in the corridors.

Tickets for Masquerade go on sale to KCRW members only on Thursday, September 24 at 10am and to the public on Tuesday, September 29. The event is 21 and over and all tickets are general admission.

BUMBERSHOOT FEST WRAP UP

As the world celebrated Labor Day this past weekend - I was home in Los Angeles missing out on yet another festival. Bumbershoot kicked off this past weekend in the rain soaked city of Seattle. Katy Perry, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The All American Rejects...just to name a few, took to the stage to help wrap up the summer festivities.

The All American Rejects also appeared at the fest...

Didn't get to make it to this years fest, but I'll definitely be there next year!
