The Dead Weather is hosting this dope 24 hour vinyl album stream for Sea of Cowards on their official site (http://www.thedeadweather.com/). You can watch here too!

Analog will be going digital for the first time! Fans can tune into Screaming Vinyl Live, a 24-hour listening party for Sea of Cowards. The Dead Weather will be playing the new album on vinyl via a live camera and audio stream. Screaming Vinyl Live kicks off Friday April 30th at 10am PST/1pm EST from locations in both Nashville and Los Angeles and will feature surprise guest DJs.

Also, The Dead Weather are going to premiere their new album Sea of Cowards by performing it live in its entirety! The band will premiere the record at the Third Man Records building in downtown Nashville, the same space where they played their very first show in 2009. This exclusive live performance will stream on May 3rd at 3pm PST/6pm EST on MySpace Music and the band’s Myspace page.

THE GOLDEN TICKET

Taking a page from Willy Wonka, Jack White's latest band, The Dead Weather, placed six photo booth picture strips (in lieu of "golden tickets") in US copies of their recently released debut, Horehound.

While two have already been found, there are still four picture strips waiting to be claimed! Those lucky enough to find a photo booth picture strip, will win a trip to Nashville, TN for a guided tour of Third Man Records. Included is round trip airfare, two night hotel accomodation and ground transportation for you and a friend.

HOREHOUND SET FOR RELEASE

What was initially imagined as a one-off collaboration for a 7” single, turned into a full blown record for The Dead Weather.

Horehound, the debut collaboration between Jack White (White Stripes), Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs) and Dean Fertita, was recorded in just three weeks in White's own Nashville studio. Also produced by White, the band's menacing debut will hit stores on July 14th via his Third Man Records imprint. The Dead Weather will also make their UK broadcast debut on Nigel Godrich's From The Basement on June 22nd.
