Front man Peter Moren, from Peter, Bjorn and John put on a stellar performance at The Troubadour in West Hollywood Saturday night! I came a bit early to catch a glimpse of the opening act, Tobias Froberg, who was amazing. Peter has just recently been working on several projects, one being his own album which dropped April 8th and also just finished producing Lykke Li, and new Swedish sensation whom will be performing at The El Rey on May 19th with El Perro del Mar. Peter's act was a bit crazier than one of P,B & J's, but in a good way. He went from performing solo, to a band set, to scaling the walls of the Troubadour. It was definitely a show worth being at. In the middle of the set, he asked if I, yes me, was in the crowd. Confused, I shyly shouted 'Uh yeah', and he demanded me to sit on stage while performing a song dedicated to me, don't ask me why. He thanked me, and I went back to my standing position in the crowd, with an un-named celebrity that I had met earlier (also the photographer of the photos I am in). Toward the end of the set, he asked if I was still there and suggested I approach the stage once more for him to come down as he performed a cover of A-ha's 'Take On Me', in which he insisted that I danced with him (see last photo). Crazy. He was a fun guy, a great performer, and it made for a very interesting evening.
