On Saturday night I had the rare opportunity to hang out at the Indie 103 studios in Los Angeles for a very special in-studio session with Robyn and Lady Tigra. My friend Paul V hosts Neon Noise , a radio show on Indie from 12pm to 3am every Saturday night/Sunday morning. Robyn has been in town this past week working. She's been working on music for future projects, performing an acoustic show at Spaceland in Silverlake and enjoying the sunny Southern California weather. She wraps it all up this week and heads back to Sweden, but first she has one more special acoustic show set for the Hotel Cafe TONIGHT!
Lady Tigra stopped by the studio to perform her latest track "First Black, First Lady," her ode to Michelle Obama. She also sang her "Phantom On The Bottom" mashup with her + Justice!!!
I must say that this was one of those moments that will stick with me forever. I mean, to be able to hang out at a radio station with Robyn and Lady Tigra like a foot away was just crazy to me. As you can see I posted some photos from the night and I will soon have video footage of us all just chillen' in the studio. Look for it later this week!
