This just in! Parachute confirmed that their album, 'Losing Sleep', will be released everywhere on May 19th. The band's debut on Mercury/Island Def Jam Music Group takes off from the individual members' shared histories, from “She Is Love”, the ballad torch song and first single, with its Van Morrison-like scatting by lead singer Will Anderson, to Nate McFarland's chiming, The Edge-styled chunks of guitar laced through "Back Again", "Under Control", "Ghost", "Words Meet Heartbeats", and "All That I Am".

Plus, check an exclusive acoustic performances from Parachute's recent visit with!

My favorite Australian brother & sister duo, Angus & Julia stone had an in-store performance & signing at Amoeba Records in Los Angeles yesterday. They performed songs from the current album, A BOOK LIKE THIS.

You can catch them again tonight at the Troubadour in West Hollywood!

Empire Of The Sun release their debut album Walking On A Dream on Astralwerks today.
The electro- psychedelic project led by Luke Steele, the enigmatic wunderkind behind Australia's The Sleepy Jackson and Pnau's Nick Littlemore has already reached Platinum status at home in Australia and has been a chart hit worldwide.

Empire Of The Sun's "Walking On A Dream" is this week's iTunes Single of the Week. What does that mean? It means you should head over to iTunes or click the link below and get a free MP3 of the song that was described as "the hottest record in the world" by Zane Lowe's BBC1 Radio show. Enjoy!!

"Walking On A Dream" Single of the Week on iTunes

In addition, "Walking on a Dream" is heating up at Specialty Radio and is currently #5* on the FMQB Singles Chart.

Exotic, lavish, larger-than-life, Empire Of The Sun brings together these two unlikely collaborators from Australian pop. Their friendship which Luke describes as "this fireball of electricity", eventually resulted in Walking On A Dream - a bold, visionary and brilliant album, which manages to sound exhilaratingly contemporary, audaciously forward-looking, yet also curiously archaic all at once. From Nick and Luke's collective unconscious arose a rare marriage of rock and electronica, immediacy and depth, futurism and tradition, hi-tech production and creative spontaneity, pop melody and the cinematic.

The video for "Walking On A Dream" has received over 3.8 million YouTube views. The fantastic video, filmed in Shanghai can be seen here:

Their new video for "We Are The People", filmed in Mexico has already received over 700,000 YouTube views in just 7 weeks. You can check it out here: OR

The new video for The Crystal Method's single "Drown in the Now" off the forthcoming release, Divided By Night, is an intense visual interpretation of the album title and cover art, as reggae rocker Matisyahu rhymes his way across a black and white animated urban landscape.

Divided By Night will be released on May 12th and
includes collaborations with Matisyahu, Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order), Samantha Maloney (Hole, Peaches), Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), Emily Haines (Metric), Meiko, Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge) and LMFAO.

The Crystal Method received rave reviews for their Coachella performance this past weekend, which included a surprise performance by Divided By Night collaborators LMFAO. Don't miss as they take the show across the US in May, or better yet - ENTER TO WIN a VIP flyaway to their Vegas Mandalay Bay appearance HERE:

Grizzly Bear is releasing a 7-inch “Live on KCRW” single of “While You Wait for the Others,” which they debuted on the show and later became one of Spin Magazines Top 20 Songs of 2008. They are also including their cover of the Carole King-penned song “He Hit Me,” which appeared on their “Friends” album and was offered up as a freebie from KCRW as Today’s Top Tune (If you haven’t already signed up, you should. We often offer tracks that are otherwise unavailable, remixes, new releases and tons of other great stuff ).

Mrs. Ryan Adams aka Mandy Moore has just released a new video for her song, "I Can Break Your Heart Any Day Of The Week."

I still feel she's a little too bubble gum pop for this whole singer songwriter image she's throwing at us; however, I give her props because she has worked with some great songwriters on her past projects.

I finally gave in and signed up for a Twitter account - follow me!

I was completely bummed that I wasn't able to attend this years Coachella Festival in Indio, California. I had intended to go, but I ended up going out of town at the last minute, which left me coachless. Also, musicbleep scored an interview with the talented James Morrison, but that fell through at the last minute as well. I guess it just wasn't meant for me this year. Big shout out to Allen for representing and putting on his journalistic hat last minute (even if he didn't get to use it).

It's ok...not upset! There are a ton more festivals in the upcoming month and I plan to attend at least a couple.

So, if you didn't make Coachella this year - check out some videos I found for you all!
