Sea Wolf, have unleashed their ghoulish new video for "Wicked Blood". Amidst all of the skeletons, mummies, tombstones and unidentified flying objects, there still remains a hint of romance that only Alex Church's intricate lyrics could soundtrack.
On November 6, the band will also be participating in a special Twilight: New Moon event at the Hollywood & Highland complex in Los Angeles. The event will feature special performances from Sea Wolf, Death Cab For Cutie, Anya Marina and Band of Skulls. A Q&A with select cast members will also follow.

The other day I randomly came across this band. I'm not quite sure how I heard about them, but yesterday I couldn't stop listening. I think I watched every video, heard every song and watched every live performance. I'm obsessed! It also just so happens that they are playing in LA on Friday. I hope to gain access to the show so I can get my fix and also review their show. BIG THINGS to come for Florence + the Machine!
Nora Jones is back with "Chasing Pirates," the brand new video from her upcoming album, The Fall. The video, which was shot in Jones’ hometown of New York City, was directed by Rich Lee, who has worked on the visual effects for all three of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Lee has also directed music videos by everyone from Fergie (“Clumsy”) to Michael Buble (“Haven’t Met You Yet”). Click HERE for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video.

As you have probably gathered by now, we love the Swedes, and we especially love The Sounds. Maja and the gang have been not stop touring and recording for well over 3 years by now; traveling and performing all over the world (with several stops in LA in the past couple of years), and also getting the opportunity to join No Doubt on their last whirlwind world tour!
We have seen the Sounds at a variety of venues, with both large and small audiences, but we were SHOCKED on Wednesday night when we showed up to the show THREE HOURS EARLY (which is something that we just never do) to see the line of people completely wrapped around the block on the corner of Wilshire and Western, where the famous Wiltern Theater resides. This show, with opening acts ‘Foxy Shazam’ and ‘The Moving Units’ sold out within minutes, forcing them to add another show for Thursday night playing with ‘Shiny Toy guns’. As always, they put on a more than stellar performance, rocking the house down with their hard dance beats, and edgy lyrics. Playing songs from their latest album “Crossing the Rubicon’ as well as giving a good dose of Sounds classics from their self titled debut, and their sophomoric release “Dying to Say This to You”.
I don’t care how long that they have been touring, and Lord only know how many shows they perform, they NEVER seem to lose steam and they play for the audience and are always so grateful and loving; every time we have seen them, it always seems like the first and I hope that feeling never dies, and I doubt it will.
I was at the gym yesterday and I cam across this song on my iPod. It's from a band called, The Uglysuit and it's a song called, "Chicago." It's such a great band and an even great song, so I wanted to share it with all of you.
