thenewno2 will play their final show of their Tuesday night September residency at the Key Club TONIGHT. Each week since the residency began there's been a steady increase in the number of people at the shows. It's definitely a show I recommend you see!

Also, plans for the physical release of the debut thenewno2 album, You Are Here have been announced. Band frontman Dhani Harrison decided to eschew the record label process and put the album out first digitally in August without any fanfare. The physical release of the album will not be available on CD, but on slotMusic cards produced by SanDisk. Dhani, who is extremely tech savvy, approached the company several months ago about releasing his album through a memory card which can be played in a phone, computer, and other devices. San Disk will get the card sold in some major retailers starting in mid October.

YOU ARE HERE

I missed it last night, but every Tuesday in September this band is doing a FREE show at the Key Club on Sunset. This band is getting huge buzz, so CHECK EM OUT NOW while its still FREE!

thenewno2, the trippy, quasi electronic, quasi classic rock band, is playing a weekly set of dates at the Key Club in Los Angeles. The band fronted by Dhani Harrison (and let's not be coy, he is indeed George Harrison's son, not Jerry Harrison from the Talking Heads, or Harry Harrison from WABC-AM radio as you may have been led to believe) with drummer, percussionist, synth player Oli Hecks.

The next date is Tuesday, September 16, starting time 10 PM and will play the next few Tuesdays of the month.

The debut album, you are here, is already available on iTunes and a physical release will come either this fall or early next year.
