THE LIBRARY CONTEST

If you haven't heard of The Library yet, now is your chance. I'm giving away an awesome Hipster Prize Pack from up-and-coming LA dance rockers, The Library!

One US winner will receive a copy of their self title debut EP and one awesome t-shirt featuring seductive band logo. All you have to do is email your name, age & address to musicbleep@gmail.com. I will choose one winner at random!

Contest ends Sunday, April 12th, 2009!!

While the name, The Library, might suggest an atmosphere of quietude, these Los Angeles dance-rockers aim to change your mind. Lead singer, Court Alexander, showcases his crazy-sexy-cool vocals above a bed of funky sythns, brazen guitars and stylish arrangements. Their self-titled debut EP, produced by Robert Shahnazarian, Jr. (Snow Patrol, Keane) and mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers) is a fresh spin on the LA music scene. The Library EP is available now courtesy of Feudal Records.

"YOU DON'T NEED NO DOCTOR, SUGAR"

From the Producer that brought us Keane and Snow Patrol comes a fairly new band, The Library! Think Gnarls Barkley meets Jamiroquai. Last Wednesday we were invited to their EP Release party at Boardners in Hollywood. Not only is this venue amazing and super packed, The Library put on an unforgettable performance! Performing all of their songs off of their self titled new album plus more, they had all of the audience jumping and dancing to their fresh funk! I see nothing put a great future from this LA based quartet. You can check them out on iTunes, www.myspace.com/thelibrary, or from their website www.thelibrarymusic.com If you are in the mood for a fun new sound, I highly recommend you check them out! They will be performing live March 20th @ U-31 in San Diego, March 22nd @ Cinespace in Hollywood, and March 28 @ Avalon in Hollywood. Go and see them, you will not be disappointed!!
