With the soundtrack's release in less than a month and lead single, "All Is Love" now available on iTunes, we are happy to reveal the official cover art for Where The Wild Things Are.

Featuring original music by Karen O, the soundtrack seamlessly marries sound to vision, with the help of some friends and fellow musicians. Dubbed Karen O and the Kids, the kids include Tristan Bechet (Services), Tom Biller (co-producer with Karen O and member of Afternoons), Bradford Cox (Deerhunter), Brian Chase (YYY), Dean Fertita (The Dead Weather), Aaron Hemphill (Liars), Greg Kurstin (The Bird and the Bee), Jack Lawrence (The Dead Weather), Oscar Michel (Gris Gris), Imaad Wasif (New Folk Implosion), Nick Zinner, (YYY) and an untrained children’s choir.

WILD ONE

Myspace Music has premiered Karen O and the Kids lead single, "All is Love", from the Spike Jonze directed film Where The Wild Things Are. The single will be available wide on August 25th - so head over to the film's official Myspace page www.myspace.com/wherethewildthingsare listen to Karen O backed by an untrained children's choir!

To compose the music, O enlisted friends and fellow musicians she believed had a musical intuition that would bolster her intent to marry sound to vision. Where The Wild Things Are Official Soundtrack drops September 29th courtesy of Interscope, with the film hitting theaters October 16th.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS GROW

Ok, so I'm totally freaking out over the upcoming adaptation of Where The Wild Things Grow! I know this really doesn't have anything to do with music, but I think everyone needs to see this movie. I grew up on this when i was a kid, so I can't wait to see how this book comes to life. This trailer does feature the song "Wake Up" from Arcade Fire....check it out!
