SONGS FROM ME, CLIPS FOR YOU

Songs From Me, Clips For You - James Morrison

James Morrison has another webisode on Imeem.com that gives you a behind the scenes look as he travels while promoting his album, Songs For You, Truths For Me!

THE GOLDEN TICKET

Taking a page from Willy Wonka, Jack White's latest band, The Dead Weather, placed six photo booth picture strips (in lieu of "golden tickets") in US copies of their recently released debut, Horehound.

While two have already been found, there are still four picture strips waiting to be claimed! Those lucky enough to find a photo booth picture strip, will win a trip to Nashville, TN for a guided tour of Third Man Records. Included is round trip airfare, two night hotel accomodation and ground transportation for you and a friend.

Last day to redeem picture strips is August 15th, so don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity. Grab yourself a copy of Horehound, pack those bags and hope for the best. Good luck and maybe we'll see you at Third Man!

Congratulations to the first two winners!

BOOM BOOM POW

With her disarmingly frank lyrics, melodic gifts, and exotic good looks, singer and songwriter Anjulie is a commanding new presence on the music scene. She was recently selected for MtvU’s Freshman 5 with the music video for “Boom”—a college and public radio favorite that hit #1 on the Billboard dance charts—and with her signing to the Hear Music imprint, her album will be available at all Starbucks nation-wide on street date.

Hailing from Toronto, Anjulie is an intriguing, authentic new voice on the pop landscape with the melodic gifts, vocal prowess and sophistication that announce her as a true original. Obsessed with music as a child, Anjulie has been singing and writing songs since she was a teen, and the years she spent honing her craft are readily apparent on her forthcoming self-titled debut album. Co-written with her producer and collaborator Jon Levine (of Canadian R&B hit makers the Philosopher Kings), Anjulie sets intensely personal stories about her life, loves, obsessions, and heartbreaks to a glittering genre-blending mix of pop, hip-hop, rock, and world rhythms she heard as a child growing up.
