Each month I’m going to have a new Artist of the Month featured on Musicbleep. It’s a chance for you to get to know the music I’m feeling. My 1st featured artist for March is Kate Nash.I’m totally obsessed with the Kate Nash CD! It’s been out for awhile now; however, many people still aren’t aware of how brilliant she is. Her CD has been on repeat in my car for weeks and weeks. She’s totally the new Lilly Allen (sans all the drug problems). Her lyrics are clever and her vocals are a breath of fresh air. 20 year old Nash who reigns from London was one of Lilly’s top friends on Myspace and has become the latest sensation to take the world by storm. She emerged from nowhere to become one of the hottest things in pop today.
Her quirky single “Foundations”, is up-beat, totally fun and silly - one of my faves on the record! Oh and track 11, "Nicest Thing" – UH-MAY-ZING!! I’d totally put it in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Made Of Bricks is totally MAY-JA (in my best British accent) and in stores now!
